The McPherson CVB will host a free movie in the park Saturday, Aug. 4 at 9 p.m. at Lakeside Park band shell. The audience is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray. Concessions will be available with all proceeds benefiting the McPherson County Humane Society.
The movie is made possible by a generous donation from the McPherson Optimist Club.
Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the Eighties, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean "time machine" invented by slightly mad scientist. During his often hysterical, always amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love - so he can get back to the future.
